3. Accessing the website / server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of access, page/file requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL and browser and operating-system type. Processing serves to deliver the website and to ensure system security and stability on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after a short period unless they are needed for security purposes.
4. Contact and enquiry form
If you contact us via the form or by e-mail, we process the details you provide (e.g. name, company, e-mail, phone, message) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (handling enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
5. Cookies
This website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing purposes. Technically necessary storage in the browser serves solely to operate the site.
6. Fonts
The „Manrope“ and „Caveat“ typefaces are used for a consistent appearance. The fonts are embedded locally on our server (no Google Fonts), so no data is transferred to third parties when the fonts are loaded.
7. Map display
A schematic locations world map is shown on the contact page. It is embedded as a local graphic; there is no connection to a third-party map service and no data is transferred to third parties. The „Switzerland“ page contains a link to Google Maps; data is only transmitted to Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, USA) if you actively click that link. 8. Hosting (Netlify)
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Netlify processes the data arising when the website is accessed (incl. IP address, timestamp, file requested) on our behalf for technical delivery and security of the website (order processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; legal basis Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). As the provider is based in the USA, personal data may be transferred to the USA; this transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. A data processing agreement with Netlify is in place.
